Neu Versen Man
Neu Versen Man is sometimes called Roter Franz due to the bright red color of his hair. He was found lying on his back in Germany's Bourtangermoor about 1900. Scientists have discovered multiple wounds on his body: a slit throat, an arrow wound, and a broken shoulder.
Where to see him
The Niedersächsisches Landesmuseum (Hannover, Germany) displays Neu Versen Man and many other bog items, including a trackway.
